Humble Beginnings

It is a pleasure to introduce to you “The Sword Of The Spirit Church” where we have experienced God’s goodness over our lives for the last 20 years. Since we first met as a very small group of a few families we have since grown into several churches ministering to various parts of the city. It was coincidently the 15th of August 2004 celebrated as ‘Independence Day’ in our nation, that also marked our first service.

God has lead us through the early formative years and we have experienced His firm hand guiding us over the years. We are a registered religious body accountable to the government for all practices and fulfill all guidelines as laid down by the law of this land.

Our Desire

As evangelicals, the Bible is our final authority for faith and practice. The statements that follow reflect our best attempt to understand and live out biblical precepts. We endorse these statements for use by all our members, leaders, pastors in all the churches with a prayer that God will bless our sincere desire and humble attempt to be ambassadors Christ.

Our prayer is that through our lives may the Lord’s will be done here on earth as it is in heaven.
